Simplera Sync™ is a disposable, all-in-one 7-day sensor requiring no fingersticks* or overtape and no separate transmitter. The Simplera Sync™ sensor offers a more comfortable insertion process1 that takes two steps and less than 10 seconds1 – so people with diabetes can spend less time on diabetes tasks.
The Simplera Sync ™ sensor is inserted just under the skin, accurately measuring glucose values and relaying these values to your MiniMed™ 780G system. The Simplera Sync ™ sensor is compatible with the MiniMed™ 780G system, indicated for use by patients 7 years and older with Type 1 diabetes, or patients 18 years and older with Type 2 diabetes, whose total daily dose of insulin is 8 units per day or more.
*A blood glucose (BG) reading is needed when entering SmartGuard™ feature. If glucose alerts and CGM readings do not match your symptoms, use a BG meter to make diabetes treatment decisions. 1.
